Tragic, beautiful. I laughed, I cried, I got hungry...

Looks like a science experiment gone awry. Not sure I could eat those after seeing them in that form . . .
I'll just have to take your word that they are worth a second try.

(Thanks for the comment earlier this week. Yup - Brad and I are such old-timers at Village we have great dirt on most of the staff from the old days! We go to the 5:30 service on Saturdays. We'll try to track you and your wife down sooner or later - it would be great to meet you!)

Puttering...I like to putter as well. I think it's one of the best things about getting old.

"...apparently I had inhaled the rest of the burrito"

This line (along with the barf in my own eye one) is going to keep me in smiles all day long.

You and me both have problems with microwaves it seems. I remember a story you once told, way back in the bygone days of youth about a wet leather wallet you tried to microwave dry...

That reminds me of our microwave at work - when Keith tried to re-heat a mini-muffin. He put it in for only 10-15 seconds and it almost caught on fire and came out looking quite similar to your burrito yet many lunches remain cold after microwaving them for 3 minutes....microwaves have minds of their own.

LOVE it. I needed a good belly laugh today.

Favorite line: "The house looked like it was exhaling after a nice, long drag on a cigarette."
